Bulletin 160-98: California Water Plan
Public Review Draft
The California Department of Water Resources publishes an update of
the California Water Plan every five years. Bulletin 160-98 is the latest
in a series of water plan updates. The updates evaluate California's water
needs, assess water supplies available to meet those needs, and review
actions to help reduce future water shortages.
The Department will accept written comments on the draft report through
March31, 1998. Public meetings
on the draft are being scheduled for Redding, Sacramento, Concord, Fresno,
Ontario, and Rancho Mirage during the last two weeks of February.
