Recent Flooding 1967-1992

Flood flows reaching the Delta have been estimated to exceed 600,000 cubic feet per second. The most recent flood in the Delta occurred in 1986 when several islands in the north Delta flooded. This resulted in millions of dollars in damages, particularly in the town of Thornton.
